801 Chophouse St. Louis is hiring for a Pastry Cook position! 

This is a part-time position working in a team-oriented, high-volume, fast-paced, guest-centric environment with the highest of quality food. Experience is preferred but not required.  Must be willing to learn new skills. 

 Primary Responsibilities:
  • Pastry production
  • General knife handling
  • Pastry plating
  • Kitchen cleanliness/sanitation
  • Organization skills
Requirements/Experience Desired: 
  • Basic knowledge of molecular gastronomy
  • Cake making & decorating
  • Petit fours/Mignardises
  • Gluten-free
  • Ice cream/sorbet
  • Bread making
  • 1 year experience preferred, but not required 
  • Ability to effectively communicate with BOH team in loud environment
  • Must be available any day of the week, including nights, weekends & some holidays
  • Must maintain regular, predictable and reliable attendance 
Physical requirements include, but are not limited to: 
  • Physical ability to work on your feet, alertly, for extended periods of time
  • Continuous use of hands and arms; continuous bending, reaching & twisting 
  • Physical ability to frequently lift 20-30 lbs, and occasionally up to 50lbs; 
  • Physical ability to squat, kneel, and climb
